Our mission is to encourage social and political activities among LGBTQ students and their allies, and to provide peer support for those LGBTQ students who need it.

Allied in Pride was created in 2005 as the the result of two LGBT organizations, the Out Crowd and GW Pride, combining. Our parent organizations have long histories, with GW Pride's extending back more than 35 years.

Allied in Pride has a strict policy of non-discrimination. We openly accept all students, regardless of their actual or perceived age, sex, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or medical health.

We believe in providing a confidential environment to all students, and will not disclose any information about or provided by, any student that seeks our support or participates in our events.
