President: Neha Shah

Neha Shah is a sophomore majoring in international affairs and religion. In addition to her work with Allied, Neha has worked extensively with Amnesty International's LGBT human rights program and has interned with Congressman David Wu. Her other colleg activities include the College Democrats and the SA. In her spare time Neha enjoys reading, traveling, and wishing she'd be adopted by Brangelina.

Vice President: Bren Beloravac

Bren Belovarac is a senior majoring in Japanese Language and Literature. He worked previously as the finance chair, and is the current Vice President of Allied. Bren is also the President of the GW Quiz Team, something everyone should ask him about and join. It is rumored he has a good movie collection. Bren enjoys movies, books, talking to people, and worrying about life after college, for which he hopes to remain in DC or teach in Japan.

Social Chair: Michael Komo

Michael R. Komo is a freshman from Erie, Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Political Science and is going to pursue law school upon graduation from George Washington. Michael envisions a career as a civil rights/constitutional lawyer and then a politician. In high school, he graduated as valedictorian of his senior class and was the President and Founder of the Gay-Straight Alliance at his school. Michael is going to be as active as possible at George Washington. He founded the Political Satire Living and Learning Cohort at Thurston and is the President. Besides getting involved with Allied in Pride and the Political Satire LLC, he has also gotten involved with the College Democrats, Upward Bound Tutoring Program, and Students for Hillary. Michael is currently working as a senior staff assistant at the Graduate School of Political Management.

Advocacy Co-Chair: Amy Dorfman

Amy Dorfman is the Advocacy Co-Director of Allied in Pride. She is a junior majoring in Human Services with a minor in Sociology. Amy is currently interning with The League of Young Voters, which works to give youth a voice in local, state and national politics. She is also active with many student organizations at GW and in DC including The Socially Responsible Initiatives Commission, Progressive Student Union, ΑΦΩ, Jewish Progressive Political Association, and DC Today…DC Tomorrow. Amy enjoys reading, spending time with her two moms and the rest of their family including her dog, Pebbles. .

Advocacy Co-Chair: Michael DiNapoli

Michael DiNapoli is a senior majoring in Political Science with a Public Policy Focus, and is currently the Advocacy Co-Chair with Allied in Pride. Besides being involved with Allied he is involved in many extra-circular activities including The ΠΚΦ Fraternity, College Democrats, NSCS, Colonial Cabinet 2006, and Green GW. This semester Michael is interning at the Human Rights Campaign in the Field Department. In his free time he enjoys running, reading, activism, cooking and all things political.

PR Co-Chair: Mackenzie Morgan

Mackenzie Morgan is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science. She's also involved with GW's chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery, which all the other geeks in AIP should join too. She also says that if you hate viruses and like free software, she'll install Linux for you. She's the one that updates this site.

PR Co-Chair: Liz Lieberman

Liz is a Freshmen at GWU and the PR Co-Chair for Allied. Majoring in International Affairs, she finds Arabic is kicking her ass but will be worth it when she can get a job in 2011. Liz is also involved in Green GW, GW Students for Fair Trade, Parliamentary Debate, Performance Co-Chair for the Mount Vernon Program Council, Balance: GW's Ballet Group, and will be performing as a Trannie in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. She enjoys live music and dancing and good Thai food. Liz speaks French and is a French and general tutor with the Upward Bound program.

Freshman Representative: Matthew Rostowsky

Matthew Rostowsky is the Freshman Representative of Allied in Pride. In addition to Allied, Matt is active in the GW music scene, including Colonial Brass. He plans on making a big difference this year at GW and hopes to bring new ideas to the GW chapter of Allied in Pride.

Graduate Affairs Chair: Mike Overby

Mike is a second-year Master's candidate in the Elliott School of International Affairs specializing in U.S. foreign policy, and is the Graduate Affairs Chair for Allied in Pride. He graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC in 2005, where he helped start the Furman Rotaract Club, was a member of Pi Kappa Phi, and volunteered as a Spanish translator at the Greenville Free Medical Clinic. Prior to coming to DC, he spent a year in Mexico City as a Rotary scholar in a grad program on human rights, and he now works at the U.S. Department of State while trying to finish this dang degree.
